Artisan BiographyAmy Marx is a jeweler and fine arts painter currently residing in the Washington, DC area. Her jewelry has been sold in hundreds of boutiques and department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstroms and Seibu in Japan. It has been featured in many magazines including Vogue, Elle and Glamour. Some of her paintings can be viewed at Beauxartsgallery.com.The jewelry is made of seaglass and recycled glass with sterling silver and 14k gold filled wire. The seaglass is collected by the artist from a beach on the New Haven harbor in Connecticut. The jewelry made from round pieces is made from glass that has been recycled and melted down into nuggets. The artist cuts a groove in the pieces to hold the wire in place and then crackles them so they sparkle. Contact InformationAmy Marx
